I’m Nir Tamir

From a young age, I had an innate passion for technology and learning new things. I began my journey into the world of programming at the age of 16 and graduated from Bar-Ilan University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics at only 19 years old.

Over the years, I have honed my skills in front-end development, focusing on creating UI components that include advanced logic, beautiful styles, accessibility (a11y), and transitions. My quest for knowledge has led me to explore the top coding trends, allowing me to stay ahead of the curve in this ever-evolving field.

My dedication to my craft has landed me roles at some of the most innovative companies, including Youleap, Cycode, CME Group, and Any.do. At these organizations, I played a crucial role as the only front-end developer or part of small teams, leading projects from conception to successful completion.

As an open source maintainer, I have made significant contributions to the tech community through my work on eslint-plugin-sort-export-all, solid-wrap-balancer, and @nirtamir2/next-static-paths. My projects have garnered widespread attention and support, with some attracting more than 10,000 downloads per week.

In addition to my professional achievements, I have also developed personal projects like Tzeva Adom, a cross-platform app for real-time alerts in Israel. These endeavors showcase my passion for creating solutions that make a difference in people's lives.
